Event: Author Visit

• Hosted by the COE for the Laraway and San Miguel schools, author Patitica Pilaco will come and read her published works to children. Fulfill your volunteer requirement by helping sell her autographed books.

Event: Big Brothers, Big Sisters

Place:   Lewis University Chapel

• Volunteer to help with the Ludwig and Irene King students paricipating in read alouds, crafts, and other educational games.

Event: COE Book Fair

Place:   2nd Floor DeLaSalle

• Purchase and help sell novels, teacher resource, and picture books during the holiday season!

Spring 2010

Event: Book & School Supply Drive

Place:   Romeoville Campus-wide

 Who:  All Lewis Faculty, Staff, and Students

• Donate and help collect gently used books and school supplies for Joliet school district students.

Event: School Olympics

Place:   Lincoln-Way Central

Date:  TBA (Usually Friday during Spring Break)

• Volunteer at Lincoln-Way Central to coordinate Olympic-type games for students from the Special Edcuation department in District 218.

Event: Relay for Life

Place:   Lewis University

Date:  Mid-April

• Complete your service requirements for the COE, represent the COE and TOT as a team in coordination with the TBA theme by supporting those disgnosed with cancer by raising funds and awareness to promote new research and education.
