Donald Smith in an instructor for Music Merchandising, Music Technology, and Music Business Internship classes. Don is the General Manager of Brookdale Music in Naperville, Illinois. His expertise comes from several years as a live sound and studio-recording engineer, music technology consultant, and a private studio instructor. He is known in the area for his knowledge about sound systems for places of worship, schools and theaters. He is also hired to give presentations to Chicago area music educators; many of the presentation include Music Technology in the Classroom and How to Enhance the Learning Experience Using Technology.
Don is a graduate of North Central College where he studied Business Management and Music. He is a saxophonist who teaches and performs throughout the area. Don is also a singer with the Brotherhood of Harmony Chorus, where he is an assistant director and the baritone section leader.
