Welcome to this introductory course in political science.  This class has no prerequisites so students do not need a background in political science to take it.  This course covers the American national government with an emphasis on the three major institutions that are at the center of the national political system:  Congress, the President, and the Supreme Court. The goal of the course is to help students understand how the American political system operates, how it impacts their lives, and what they can do to influence political outcomes.

It is my hope that by placing this course on the Internet students will have an easy and interesting way to access the information they need and that students will be able to learn more about the many practical uses of the Internet as a tool for the study of political science.

Just click on any item in the menu in the left hand column and you can begin receiving information about this class.  If you have any questions or comments contact me by clicking on my name at the bottom of any page.
