Extra Credit
Take any one of the case studies we covered this semester and answer the following questions.
1. What is the problem or dilemma or issue involved in the case study?
2. How can the issue be stated as an ethical question?
3. What are the possible oppositions available to the administrator to get out of the dilemma?
4. Did the administrator  make the right decision?  Explain your answer.
5. What lessons should we learn?

First Test
Be able to answer the following questions.

1. What is public administration.  Examine the definition I gave you and compare that with the definitions on pages 1-3 in the text.  Pay special attention to Nigro and Nigro on page 2 and the summary by the author of the text on the bottom of page 3.
2. According to Woodrow Wilson what is the relationship  between public administration and political science?
3. According to Stillman what are the landmark events in the history of public administration in the U.S?
4. What are the values public administration tries to implement in the public sector?
5. What is the ecology of public administration?
6. What did the Hawthorne studies reveal about Taylor’s scientific management theory and about how people behave in an organizational setting?
